I’m not sure this counts, but I love Stephanie Plum from Janet Evanovich! She’s technically a bounty hunter, but all of the stories are essentially a PI investigation. And she’s a lot of fun too!

Agatha Christie was pretty good back in the day.
I enjoy a good Hercules Poirot story.
I’m not sure if they are termed a PI, but I love Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot! They definitely solve mysterys!!
