A relentless pursuit from Vietnam to Saudi Arabia in which augmented reality distorts the nature of attachment and desire.

In a world where augmented reality blurs the line between the real and the computer generated, Charlie cherishes the reality of Lauren….

His life as a young American banker in Vietnam seems idyllic until a series of events precipitate her disappearance.

When her trail leads to Saudi Arabia, he must navigate a criminal underworld. The stakes grow higher as it becomes apparent that reality isn’t what it once was.

Book Review – I love Sci-fi books! I mean I am a HUGE Sci-fi fan so  I was very excited to read this one. I love the tech talk, and the author did an awesome job and painting a picture of the world that was built.  I do have to say that the beginning was hard for me to follow but once I got into the book and understood everything that was going on I got into it.

The concept of the story was awesome, an artificial intelligence controlling everything.  A matter of fact I feel like some is already happening now. This book could have been absolutely fantastic but it fell short just a little for me but it was still good. Parts were bogged down with too much tech talk and pulled away from the plot. BUT the author is a great writer and this would make a fantastic movie.

I am looking forward to more from this author. I received a copy of this book for my HONEST review, no other compensation was received.
