Are you excited about Game Day? It is the one of the year I watch football, okay maybe I watch it for the commercials but I love getting together with family and making some yummies.
I don’t do wings and pizza is too heavy for me so this year I wanted to try some game day taco recipes. I’m making chicken and beer cheese tacos with Mexican avocados. It is easy and something a little different. This would be perfect for a big crowd if you make crock-pot shredded chicken or cook an entire chicken and shred it.
What you need –
Old El Paso Stand ‘N Stuff Taco Dinner Kit
2 sliced Avocados from Mexico
8 oz of Cheddar Cheese
4 Chicken breasts
Old El Paso refried black beans
1/2 bottle lager beer
Cook the chicken with the seasoning that came in the dinner kit, chop the chicken, and then set it to the side. Pour 1/2 the beer into a pot and put on medium. When it heats up stir in the cheese. Heat up black beans. Assemble the tacos. We put the chicken on the bottom and pour the delicious cheese sauce over it. Then we add tomatoes and avocado.
See how easy? You won’t be in the kitchen all day missing the commercials…err game 😉
