Review – A few years ago I read a book called Fallen by Traci L Slatton and it really stuck with me. I wouldn't wait for the next book to come out. I kept checking but unfortunately I lost track but recently I realized the second book HAD come out and I was extremely excited to read it.

Spoilers if you haven't read Fallen… which you definitely should.

At the end of Fallen Emma left Arthur and went with her husband and daughters. My heart hurt so badly for her but I was excited to have her home with her other child. Cold Light starts off with them back in Canada and raiders stole her daughter so she has to go after them leaving her youngest daughter behind with her husband.

Arthur shows up, oh how I LOVE him but it is heart wrenching. Does she stay loyal to her husband now that she knows he is alive or does she run back into Arthur's arms? AND she knows he is responsible for the mists which wiped out the population.

This was another excellent book by Traci L. Slatton and I didn't put it down until I was finished. Luckily I had book 3 waiting on me. If you like dystopian this is one of the best I've ever read.

Traci L. Slatton is a graduate of Yale and Columbia. She lives in Manhattan61sTVXTDREL._UX250_ with her husband, sculptor Sabin Howard, whose classical figures and love for Renaissance Italy inspired her historical novel IMMORTAL. THE BOTTICELLI AFFAIR is a tribute to her delight in the Old Masters and rich passions. FALLEN is the first in a romantic trilogy set in end times permeated with love, loss, and strange psychic powers. THE ART OF LIFE, written with Sabin Howard is book about sculpture and the philosophy and history of art; DANCING IN THE TABERNACLE is her first book of poetry. COLD LIGHT furthers the dystopian tale begun in FALLEN.
