  2. Our Easter tradition includes an Easter basket from the Easter Bunny for the grandkids and an Easter egg hunt in our backyard for them, too.

  3. We dye eggs for Easter. I get my kids a chocolate bunny and usually a small toy or gift card. We go to my in-laws for dinner. I usually bring homemade bread and/or cookies.

  13. Our Easter traditions inclulde church in the morning, followed by a scrumptious lunch, and the “must have” Easter egg hunt!

  14. My Easter traditions used to be the baskets. There were always fun things in them, like unique socks. now, my kids are grown but I’m starting again for grandchildren.

  15. Easter baskets, (eating too many malted milk eggs right off), a couple of Easter eggs for breakfast eat way too much candy while I’m dealing with the ham and scalloped potatoes, find that no one is hungry for dinner after all that candy (but eat anyway because it smells so good!), miss going out for the family walk that we planned because we’re all bloated after all that food, and dig through old videos in the vain hope of finding something that everyone wants to watch. (I’m sorry, too much reality? Okay, the PLAN for the tradition is Easter baskets, breakfast together, prepare a wonderful dinner, take a family hike after dinner and then enjoy watching old videos together. (Since Easter falls on April Fool’s day this year, there’s no telling what may be added to the list! I MAY have to find some of those weird flavored jelly beans to add to the baskets…)

  16. I usually get the kids a basket of chocolates and candy, we color eggs and hide plastic eggs with treats around the house for our doggies to find, and we have a big meal

  17. We usually eat a ham dinner at our son’s home, with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Thanks for having this contest!

  18. Our Easter traditions are going to sunrise service and then going on the annual Easter egg hunt at the base.

  19. My daughter is a teenager now, so for a few years we have had this tradition of going shopping the Saturday before Easter. We get clothes for Spring/Summer and new shoes and makeup. Then once we are home, we color eggs. Easter Sunday means a big dinner with family.

  20. We dye eggs the night before Easter and we have an Easter egg hunt for the kids and then we have a big dinner.
