Easter baskets, (eating too many malted milk eggs right off), a couple of Easter eggs for breakfast eat way too much candy while I’m dealing with the ham and scalloped potatoes, find that no one is hungry for dinner after all that candy (but eat anyway because it smells so good!), miss going out for the family walk that we planned because we’re all bloated after all that food, and dig through old videos in the vain hope of finding something that everyone wants to watch. (I’m sorry, too much reality? Okay, the PLAN for the tradition is Easter baskets, breakfast together, prepare a wonderful dinner, take a family hike after dinner and then enjoy watching old videos together. (Since Easter falls on April Fool’s day this year, there’s no telling what may be added to the list! I MAY have to find some of those weird flavored jelly beans to add to the baskets…)
