There are a few things I don't compromise on, that is healthy eating and taking care of my family. The kids get a hot and healthy lunch whenever we can and we like it to be organic. Even with back to school and all of their homeschool classes they get it on the weekends or as an after-school snack, before they head off to jiu-jitsu or violin lessons. I know they are getting something good and healthy!

Easy Hot Organic Lunch – Chicken, Peas, and Annie’s Organic Real Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese

What do you need? Oh my gosh, this is so incredibly simple to make!

1 box of Annie’s Organic Shells & Real Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese

1/2 bag of organic peas

1 or 2 organic chicken breasts (I have one daughter who likes more chicken and one who likes less, so it depends on taste).

Salt and pepper to taste

This is incredibly easy to make. It took maybe 15 minutes which was the time it took to cook the chicken. While that was going I cooked the Annie’s Organic Shells & Real Aged Cheddar Mac & Cheese as per the directions on the back and warmed up the peas.

Finally I mixed them all together. To round out their lunches I usually add a Annie’s Organic Summer Strawberry Whole Milk Yogurt Tube and a Annie’s Organic Chocolate Chip Chewy Granola Bar.

Here is a video to show you how easy it is!

About the company- Annie Withey co-founded Annie’s Homegrown, Inc. with Andrew Martin in 1989 with the goal of giving families healthy and delicious macaroni and cheese and to show by example that a successful business can also be socially responsible. Nearly thirty years after its founding, the values that Annie started with still guide the company every day. Annie’s is a mission-driven business grounded in using natural and organic ingredients to make great-tasting products that consumers love. They source ingredients only from places and people they trust. And Annie’s works hard to act as a positive role model for consumers and other businesses.

My girls love ANY of the mac and cheeses, the Berry Bunnies cereal, and the yogurt tubes are so great when we head out to the park. Don't get me started on the cheddar bunnies, I can't keep them in stock.
