Have you ever thought if you just changed your diet you would feel so much better?  Well, you are probably right, and the folks at Foodmatters have produced some great DVDs to show you how to get started.

I received the DVD movies, “Food Matters” and “Hungry For Change” for review.  I thought that I knew alot about nutrition and a whole foods lifestyle, but I had not even scratched the surface.  Food Matters takes us on a tour of the evolution of medical treatment in America, and the suppression of vitamin related therapies.  We are also told have the means to cure most illnesses right in our pantry.   I was suprised to learn that the treatment for mild depression could be as simple as a few handfuls of cashews!

Hungry for Change takes us on a journey in to the food processing of America.  We follow the life of a typical American and how what they eat changes their mental and physical health.  Leading proponents of natural health, like Dr. Mercola, teach us about the dangers of things like Aspartame.  We learn how the Standard American diet is calorie dense, but nutrient lacking, and is possibly the reason for the rampant disease in America.  The folks at FoodMatters also have some great complimentary resources available in their store, like a Food Matters recipe book.

If you have ever thought about going Vegan, or changing your diet to change your life, then “Food Matters” and “Hungry For Change” are a good springboard to start your journey.  Taking Time For Mommy have teamed up with FoodMatters.tv to give one lucky reader a copy of both films on DVD.

  1. I am at least 25lbs over weight– I don’t really like myself much at the moment. nothing fits right. I am just not to very happy with me. I need a complete attitude and body change. We eat so poorly around here that I believe if we start from the inside out it might just help.
