Fun Family Activities to Celebrate Fall
It is finally cooling off here in Florida and feeling more Fall-ish. The girls and I have started decorating the house. This year we skipped Halloween decorating and went straight to Fall. We made this pretty wreath last year and we put it up yesterday.
Tomorrow we are going to homeschool day at the local corn maze and attending a local festival this weekend.
I even start exercising more this time of the year because it isn’t so hot out so the family made a list of to-dos for this fall that we all can enjoy.
Hiking – There are so many trails here in Palm Coast and they are also great for bike riding too.
The local festivals are starting up. We have one this weekend called Creekside and there are a few art ones coming up too.
There are a few pumpkin patches and corn mazes and the kids always find those fun.
Many evenings we sit around a campfire and roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
This is also a great time of the year to go camping. I’m already lining some trips up for us. I’m thinking Disney Campground this year!
We’ve already been baking. Apple pies, apple crisps, apple dumplings…
Next week we are going to buy our pumpkins. We roast the seeds and decorate them.
This is also the perfect time of year to go hunt for sharks teeth. The sharks have been following the bait fish so we are staying out of the water for now but we like to take blankets and play in the sand. We always find awesome teeth.
Eat delicious soups.
