Homemade Cherry Vanilla Cream Soda
I'm one of those moms who doesn't let the girls have soda often, at least not traditional sodas. Â Natural sodas are so easy to make and you can control what goes in there and how much. There aren't any preservatives and it is so delicious.
The homemade cherry vanilla cream soda is perfect for movie night. We like to order a pizza or make one from scratch. If  you try this let me know how you like it or if you have any variations you tried and liked. We are always looking for new sodas to try.
Soda Recipe:
3/4 C Cherry Juice (or you can take frozen cherries with a little bit of water and put them in the blender)
1/2 C sugar (or you can use agave)
1/2 C water
1/2 C whipping cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
Bottle of Seltzer / club soda
Ice cubes
-Mix together the cherry juice, sugar (or agave) , and water in a saucepot.
-Cook on medium for 20 minutes.
-Make sure the combination has turned to a syrupy consistency.
-Stir in the vanilla.
-Cool.
-Add cherry syrup into a pitcher.
-Fill the pitcher with ice and seltzer and top off with heavy whipping cream stir
-Left over syrup can be stored in a refrigerator for 2 weeks.
Mmmm those look so good!
