Try these delicious Apple-Oatmeal Cinnamon Breakfast Cookies  

Apple Pie Jam

makes six 6 oz jars

Ingredients:

6 large Gala or Jazz apples

3 tbsp. butter

1 cup brown sugar

2 1/4 cups of unsweetened apple juice

1/4 cup of lemon juice

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves

Directions:

Core, peel and dice apples into bite size pieces.

Add to a pan with brown sugar, lemon juice, butter, and spices.

Simmer for approximately 30 minutes until the apples turn a amber color.

The apples should be transparent and the jam should be glossy but not too thick.

Pour into sterilized jars and seal with sterilized lids.
