Today’s post is sponsored by Yoplait, but my love for Yoplait Light is all my own!
Did you decide to lose weight as a New Year's resolution? Are you still on track? If not don't worry because today is a new day and you can start over again. I didn't wait for the new year to start losing. I had decided to start before Christmas. It was actually easier than I thought with responsible snacking – even with the holidays and I have already lost 6lbs by making some easy changes.
Focus on being happy and not stressed out. I make sure to go outside and get fresh air and enjoy life. Being well balanced effects your entire life.
Drink lots of water. This is important on so many levels. We need to stay hydrated and it makes our skin beautiful not to mention makes us not as snacky.
Make sure to eat. You should be eating 5 or 6 times a day. Not big huge meals of course but smaller meals. This is where snacks come in.
Make healthier choices. Put down the chips and pick up a yoplait light yogurt pack. They are delicious and only 150 calories!
They have over 20 flavors and some of my favorite are key lime pie and apricot mango sorbet.
Yoplait light yogurts are good any time of the day but my favorite is around 2pm when I am craving something yummy. I love the fact that they do not have aspartame in them.
I also like to have them as a mid-morning snack too. I use the yogurts to make my oatmeal DELICIOUS!
Healthy Strawberry Oatmeal
2 cups of almond milk
2 tbsp organic buckweat
2 cups organic rolled oatmeal
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp hemp seeds
1 cup raisins
1 apple chopped
1 serving of yoplait lite strawberry
Take the milk, apple, and buckweat and cook for 5 mins. Add in the organic rolled oats, raisins, chia seeds, and chia seeds until cooked.
Then I serve up into individual bowls and add a couple of tablespoons of yoplait lite yogurt.
