I’ve included a simple White Wine Spritzer Recipe for you. It is soooo easy!
- 4 ounces of dry Chardonnay
- 2 ounces cold club soda
- Twist of lemon peel
Pour the Chardonnay and club soda over ice in a chilled wineglass, and stir. Garnish with lemon peel. These are so easy and go down so smoothly too!
You can use any Chardonnay with this drink since you are mixing it but I suggest these chards if you are drinking them by themselves.
2010 Napa Valley Chardonnay boasts an attractive light golden-straw color and fresh, lightly buttery, ripe golden apple, pear and citrus aromas, complemented by seductive vanilla and cinnamon/nutmeg scents from oak aging and subtle yeast tones from lees contact. Lush, concentrated and creamy on the palate, its ripe apple, melon, bright citrus and baking spice flavors culminate in a long, beautifully structured finish boasting crisp acidity and zesty mineral and spice tones. Sumptuous, yet refreshing, our 2010 Chardonnay is delicious now, but will handsomely reward another 3-5 years’ bottle aging.
Valley of the Moon Chardonnay (great to drink alone or Mix!) Aromas of asian pear, meyer lemon, vanilla and allspice overlay a hint of minerality. The lush mid-palate is accented by layers of honeydew melon and kiwi, and balanced with a long finish of zesty citrus and baked pear.
