Wow. Okay, so there is so much to say about the book. First is maybe I shouldn't read thrillers. I get all anxious and practically stand in my chair. The writing was solid and very good but I didn't like the main character Cameron. He was weak and annoying but I guess that was the point of the story.
Cameron has an affair with his student and his fiance is planning their wedding. I wanted to scream at this book so many times. So many stupid and bad decisions but many people do this in real life. You know a book is good when you are emotionally involved. Luckily the novel doesn't necessarily go into detail about the relationship between Cameron and Nikki but the fact he is being blackmailed because someone knows. Frankly it could be anyone!
Wow, did I say that already? Well I didn't see the ending coming.
