Are you looking for some easy after school snacks? Or in my case since I homeschool, all day long snacks? I need easy and healthy and I'm sure that you love ideas just like me. We eat a lot of fruit but usually we want something with a little more substance, especially after school work is finished to hold us over until dinner.

We've been eating Wasa® Crispbread for about a year now ever since we decided to cut down on processed sugars. Wasa crackers have NONE! They are also non-GMO certified and low fat. Wasa® Crispbreads are the perfect slate to add whatever kind of yummies you want. (I eat them for breakfast instead of toast! They are nice and crispy!)

We like to get creative. My youngest daughter likes to take the Wasa crackers and add low fat cream cheese and strawberries on top. Sometimes she even drizzles raw honey.

My favorite are little Wasa pizzas, they are absolutely delicious and good for you.  The pizzas are super fast to make and oh so easy. Some nights when we come home from jiu-jitsu late we eat them as a dinner with salad because they are so fast to make and low fat!

What you need

Multi-grain Wasa® Crispbread

low-fat skim milk sliced mozzarella cheese

Barilla marinara sauce

How to make them

Layer the crackers on a cookie sheet. Spoon some of the Barilla marinara sauce onto the cracker covering it up. Then you take a slice of the cheese folding it in half. Put half a slice onto each cracker. Put in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 – 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted. When you pull them out of the oven add more sauce to the top.

Let them cool a little bit and they are ready to eat!

Feel free to add pepperoni, olives, or whatever other traditional pizza toppings to make yours how you would like. Are you looking for more healthy ideas for your kids? Barilla Gluten Free pasta has recently been named one of Parents Magazine’s “Top 25 Allergy Free Foods”

You can find EVEN More Barilla Inspired Dishes on Pinterest and the Barilla website.

We buy our Wasa crackers at Walmart because they always have low prices. Ibotta has $1 cashback at Walmart for Barilla Wasa® Crispbread, Barilla® Pasta Sauce, and Barilla® Pasta
