In my 20’s, I would have told you I would not be caught driving a minivan. Minivans were too bulky. I liked the sleek look of sports cars. I did drive an SUV when I ran a personal chef service. That was for the space when I catered events. But I drew the line there.
When I become a mom I started to see things in a different light. My needs changed from getting places fast and in style to being able to turn around in the car seat without turning yourself into a pretzel to reach kids in the back.
Since I rode in a Toyota Sienna, I have been rethinking my position on minivans. As the kids get older we are constantly on the go from morning to night. I find myself in the car more often as our life fills up with gymnastics practice, dance classes, swim lessons, school, the library and every other fun event we can find.
As our family grows and we think about expanding to adopt a puppy, we need more room. We barely fit into the car we have. Helping the kids in and out of their seats is more difficult as the get older. Lifting a sleeping child bent over is hard on the back.
The Toyota Sienna has all the features I need to drive in style and the room for a growing family. Some of the features just make me giddy. Reclining captains chairs in the second row with adjustable ottomans. Dual view entertainment center to keep everyone in the back happy.
As a family, we love to travel. The Toyota Sienna would be nice for the eight hour trips to see family all over the Northeast.
When I saw the Toyota Sienna special incentives, serious discussions began about the benefit of having more room plus the features that will make our travel and daily lives easier. I’ve found my next ride and she’s a beauty.
