We love going on vacation but packing a family can be hard. Don't worry, I have some tips to make it SO MUCH EASIER!
- We add the kids' clothing in a gallon size ziplock bag and label it per day. The girls just have to grab their bag and have everything they need. Each child has a bag for each day. We also pack a jacket to use on the trip.
2. In every piece of luggage, place a photocopy of your complete itinerary, including your home address, all flight information and hotel addresses. Include all travel dates. If your bag gets lost in transit, airline staff or other authorities can only forward your bag if they know where to find you.
3. We have a ziplock bag for all of our toiletries. Even though hotels have them we pack extras. We buy trial sizes and have them in the bag in case they leak.
4. Pack wet wipes. They are fantastic for cleaning up messes! We also pack clorox wipes because hotels rooms aren't home. I've found even the expensive hotels can leave something to be desired. I usually do a quick wipe through, especially the toilet handle.
5. We drink A LOT of water and it can get expensive. We now buy brita bottles that have filtration in them. They make water anywhere taste much better!
