Gods. War. Judgement Day. Novelist Abdur R Mohammed blends ancient myth, religious belief systems, and his deep imagination to create a fantastic new world on the pages of his fiction debut, Rise of Prophecy.
The Age of Virgo ends with an ancient Anuk prophecy looming over the world: peace ushers in prosperity; war brings annihilation. Prince Timon of Atlantis seeks the power of the Anuk star-people to conquer the world, but is challenged by the mysterious Liviana, who attempts to prevent the prophecy from unfolding. She is on a collision course with Alexius, a disgraced noble who inherits a secret from the gods. War is coming. Mortals and gods are in an epic power game in which strength, smarts, and allegiances are tested.

This book has so many things that I love – Atlantis, Old Gods, and Aliens aka ‘star people'. The author has built a new world that you can crawl into and lose yourself. Rise of Prophecy was well written and kept me hooked, great characters and story line. It is a great start to a new series!
About the Author Abdur R Mohammed is from New York City and currently lives in Virginia Beach, VA. He spent 13 years with the U.S. Navy, serving in F/A-18 fighter squadrons, and travelling the globe where his deep-seated curiosity about mythology and philosophy was further stimulated. Thank You Mandie for the Phenomenal review. How do you think a television audience will respond? What if I told you I am shopping around the screenplay for a pilot? Nevertheless, I am glad you enjoyed the book; the second volume will be released hopefully, in four months. I look forward to getting a copy to you. All the best in 2019, and please feel free to check out the companion website for updates. Best to you and yours.
I think it would make a great movie or t.v. show!
Thank You….I do think so as well. Matter of fact, the first book is a compilation of six one hour episodes I wrote in screenplay format. Volume 2 has surprised me and came together with a potential 10 one hour episodes. I wish some happy reader out there may take a chance and give the book to their peers in the entertainment industry (a dream for sure)…if it ever makes it to screen…I’ll be sure to let you know. Cheers.
