This book has been opted for a motion picture and I can see why. The writing is vivid, the world the author built is entertaining and I cared about characters. There is sooo much packed into this book and you aren't going to want to put it down. Lorelei starts out as a weak teenager but really finds her footing when she discovers what is really going on. I loved her because she was flawed, so darn stubborn and didn't want to listen to a thing.
Even though I'm not a fan of love at first site I can see how she'd fall for the Elf. He is like no one in highschool. You don't have to be a young adult to enjoy this. If you love clean romance, mystery, and lots of action I recommend picking this one up.
