Last week I went to my neighbor’s house for a yard sale. I usually don’t go to yard sales because I never find anything besides other peoples’ junk. However, at this yard sale I found a table that I thought would be the perfect size for our entryway. The finish was worn and chipped, so I knew I would have to sand it down and refinish it. I took it home and tried to think about how I was going to refinish it, as I had never refinished anything before. We just got satellite internet that my husband found at http://www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/, so I decided to do some research online about refinishing furniture. I could not believe how many websites I found on this topic. Many of them showed pictures of step-by-step instructions, so it seemed like a fairly simple project. I worked on it all weekend without anyone’s help, and I am proud to say that we now have a beautiful table in our entryway that only cost me a total of $15.00, including the supplies to refinish it. I think I am going to start shopping at yard sales more often!
