1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. My father has been an engineer at a local radio station for over 30 years so I grew up around music artists and celebrities. I have a tendency to think in a creative way and have used singing, art and now writing to get my ideas out there. I’m also a huge comic book nerd and will read or watch anything to do with superheroes, science fiction or fantasy. I’ve lived in Nashville & Los Angeles and work on and off in the film/television industry as a production assistant. I would love to one day produce a film based off of the Ceaseless series.
2. What inspired your book?
About 7 years ago I became very ill and had an extended stay in the hospital. While I was there I had to share a room with a very vocal elderly woman and I found it hard to rest. I asked a family member to bring my Walkman and Enya CD so I could listen to it at night to fall asleep. I started having dreams of a young woman running for her life through the forest when suddenly a man on a horse rescued her. The dreams continued and the story of Ember & Elijah began to unfold. I knew then that I had to share their love story with the world.
3. What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on the second book in the Ceaseless series, which picks up in 1994 in the state of Arizona. Ember and Elijah have been reincarnated and although Elijah knows his true identity, Ember unfortunately has no memory of who she was in her past life. I’m really excited to continue their story. Will these star-crossed lovers finally be together in this new lifetime? You’ll have to wait to find out.
4. Who is your favorite character?
I’d have to say Elijah, because he’s so genuine and kind but he also has a lot of wisdom and courage. He’s willing to do anything to be with his true love and will protect her at all costs. The fact that he’s a gorgeous Native American helps too! Haha!
5. Is this going to be a series? If so when does the next come out?
Yes, there will be 3 books in the Ceaseless series. ‘Flight of the Thunderbird’ the second book in the Ceaseless trilogy, is expected to be out later this Fall.

Mindy Marin is an up and coming author with a background in the entertainment industry. Working as an 
independent contractor in film and television, she pursued writing as another expression of her creativity. Ceaseless: Birth of the Phoenix is the first book in the Ceaseless series and Mindy's first published work.
Mindy was inspired to tell this story of unwavering love after a near death experience where she spent two weeks in a hospital. Having the same dream repeatedly she felt drawn to the idea of past lives and reincarnation, it was then that she began to write down snippets of her dreams and her character's stories began to come to life.
Mindy is a mother of three and currently lives in Tampa, Florida with her husband Alex and two younger children.
