Review – This cover is so gorgeous, that alone made me want to read this book. Within the Realm is the first in a series so there is a lot of world building but wow, what a world. The gifted in this book remind me a bit of X-Men with their special powers which is a huge compliment.
We meet Emily and Rainer (love the name) who have been in love since they were kids. They are both gifted and Emily is all about distracting Rainer with sex (I know the cover may LOOK YA but this is NA). This is an intense love story with fantasy wrapped in. The author pulls you in and makes you care about these characters. This is a great story and you will want to read the next book as well.
