I spent much of my high school years being socially awkward. I was NO Penny. I was more of a ‘girl version' of Leonard but not quite so smart. I loved Star Trek, I was on the debate team, and JROTC. Yep, it should have been social suicide but I still dated. My husband didn't know me in high school, he was too cool for me then but he says I am a cute dork now so apparently that makes all of the difference lol.
My dad told me when I was in high school that all of the people that were considered ‘dorky' would do well in life. They may seem socially awkward then but they would grow into themselves. I find it amusing how things have chanced since high school. What is attractive, what is not. As awkward as the guys on Big Bang Theory are they still get chics!
I personally find an intelligent man attractive. It's only by chance that my husband is both HOT, intelligent, and not ‘dorky' at all. Unfortunately he doesn't find the things I do funny. I have to say big Bang Theory calls to my dorkiness. I die laughing every time I watch it, so so funny.
I have been hired by Warner Bros. WBWord division to promote The Big Bang Theory Season 4 on DVD
