I can’t believe it’s finally here. The kids are old enough and we are headed to Orlando. My parents want to make a family trip out of it so it will be loads of fun. I have been on the internet all day making plans for our trip.
First order of business is to find a hotel. We have time to choose the right location so I am looking over Orlando hotel reviews to find the right spot at a great price.
The hotel must be centrally located to all the great places we want to see. We are going to show the kids the magic of Walt Disney World and the excitement of Universal Studios. I can’t wait to see the new Harry Potter exhibit at Universal Studios. I’m sure we will all get our fill of fun rides at these amazing parks.
One of the things I have always wanted to try in Orlando is swimming with the dolphins at Discovery Cove. The opportunity to be with those gentle creatures with my children is something I will cherish forever.
The hotel we stay in will also need to be close to some fun adult activities. We are also planning a night out with the grown-ups to one of the amazing restaurants around Orlando. I wonder if I can talk my parents into trying sushi. After dinner I think a show will be in order.
For balance we are leaving a couple of days free for people to do what they want. The Orlando hotel we stay in will need to have a pool and gym for the down days. Although, I am sure there will be plenty to fill the time. I know a round or two of golf is in the works.
This really is a dream come true to be planning this trip for my family and including the grandparent. I went to Florida years ago before I had kids. To show them the places I was fascinated by are the memories we will remember forever.
What would you do in Orlando with your family?
I would definitely visit the latest theme parks especially “Harry Potter. Play some golf and hop to a Air balloon. A weekend is not enough to enjoy all Orlando has to offer.
