 I have to say I LOVE this cover. Even more after I read the book. I met Larissa Ione at RT in New Orleans this past year. She was on a panel with an author I went to see and she was hilarious and I had to put her on my TBR list. Her Demonica series is wildly popular but I still haven't read it yet.
Her publisher sent me Bound by Night (the first book) and it was really good. Then they sent me Chained by Night which was FANTASTIC. Even better than the first. Each book follows different characters in The Moonbound Clan Vampires series. These are no sparkly vampires. Ione actually has a different and refreshing take on Vampires all together. They are descended from twelve tribes, I'm leaving it at that because I don't want to get spoilery but wow. This series is awesome.
Aylin is an amazing character, she is at the bottom of her clan and her twin sister is at the top. Rasha is the one that Hunter is to marry but she isn't the one he wants. Ione is amazing. The characterization – wow, the sex – I am soooo picky about this – there HAS to be build up and it was done so amazingly. I can't wait to pick up any and EVERY book Larissa Ione writes! Pick up this series!
