Have you ever had a dessert that reminds you of your childhood? Mine are these Easy No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies. My mom used to make them for me and when I became a teenager I made them a lot. Teenager, chocolate, yep – I made them a lot.I wanted to make something yummy today without running the oven so I made these Easy No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies. They are perfect for summer for that very reason.I make my version with MUCH less sugar so you can adjust the recipe. If you use ‘regular' commercial peanut butter you probably don't need to add any sugar at all.These are so easy and fast to make that the kids can help too.
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar (most recipes call for 2 cups)
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 cup milk (I used Almond)
1 cup peanut butter (I use all natural no sugar added – just peanuts and oil. If you want to make your own check out Homemade peanut butter)
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups oatmeal
Waxed paper
(I forgot to add the Vanilla in the picture)
Directions
Add the milk, sugar, and butter in a pot and boil for one minute
In another bowl I added the oatmeal, peanut butter, cocoa, and vanilla
and mixed it up
Then I grabbed some wax paper and dolloped them on there until they cooled and hardened.

I just made them, I only used Horizon Organic milk and Jiff peanut butter, but still very good, you are a naughty girl to seduce me with my two favorite thing, chocolate and peanut butter 🙂
I love the Horizon milk. My hubby has to have Almond so that’s why I use it. I’m glad they were yummy.
I can’t wait to make these.
