Wii just released the Just Dance Kids 2014 and Burst media sent us a copy to review, compensation was received for advertising but the review is honest.
We never played the previous versions of this game but when we got the opportunity to review this my girls were SUPER EXCITED! Unfortunately we had a little mishap with our Wii (just in time for our review), our little one stuck something into it. so we took this to my Sister in Law's house for us to try it out. (My niece is 13 and even had fun and she is at that age WHERE NOTHING IS FUN.)
There are multiple songs in Just Dance Kids 2014 and the game is designed for two family members. One plays on the left and the other one plays on the right. These songs are a blast! While you are having fun you are losing weight. I was sweating while playing, I didn't mind this exercise because it was so much fun and the kids didn't know they were exercising either. We loved it so much I'm sending our Wii to get fixed ASAP, we will be using this game and buying more fun games like this to use.
I asked the girls what their favorite part was and they said they got to grove to the music and they loved the competition. Just Dance Kids has all of the popular songs that are kid friendly – meaning I'm not rushing to change the channel like on the radio.
The tracklist features 30 songs from kids' favorite pop stars, TV shows, movies and more, with hits like “One Thing” by One Direction, “Hit The Lights” by Selena Gomez & The Scene, “Give Your Heart A Break” by Demi Lovato and “Put Your Hearts Up” by Ariana Grande.
It also has songs for little kids like Mary had a little lamb and Fraggle Rock.
Just Dance Kids = Perfect Family bonding activity.
Our family has game night at least once a week. We build a puzzle or play a board game. I honestly never thought of playing a video game together until we tried Just Dance Kids 2014. Usually games are geared towards adults or kids, not both. It was the perfect game for the entire family.
We also homeschool. This is a fantastic way to get our P.E. in, especially on those Florida rainy days!
Our family LOVED this game and we give it a HUGE thumbs up. Just Dance Kids 2014 is the perfect holiday gift for families and children to “Exercise in disguise”. JDK provides healthy fun activity for families – get the whole family up and moving!
