I love Om Shanti Clothing!  What does Om Shanti mean?  Om is believed to be a primeval sound that the universe makes, andShanti simply means peace.  If you have ever taken a yoga class you have probably chanted these words at least once.  The clothing offered by this leading edge company is divine, universal, and it's comfort brings you peace.  I was offered several items for review and I honestly loved each and every one.  I am known as the casual mom in my homeschool circle, the one who always chooses comfort over fashion, but with Om Shanti I was able to have both.

Let me introduce you to this awesome company using words from their website:

“Om Shanti Clothing Company was founded on the idea of bringing some really “Cool” looking Active / Yoga Wear to the Marketplace. Joel and Steve are the force behind this idea and have over 100 years of combined experience in fabric / apparel development and marketing. Recognizing the need for Fashion, Fun, and Function in an arena that is exploding, Yoga / Pilates… Om Shanti Clothing has created a really special series of collections that infuse uplifting messages “in” designs to grow your soul.
Our mission is to “express the Truth with the clothes you wear.”   How cool does this company sound?!?

I have this favorite pair of charcoal gray sweatpants that I have made somewhat famous in my circle of friends, and when I received my pair of white cotton knit flow pants I was hoping that they could be my alternate when the gray ones were dirty.  Well, I have a new favorite pair of pants, and lucky for me they look much better and stylish than my old gray faithfuls.  Here is a picture of those pants paired with the most comfortable, v-neck cut Tree Of Life Tee.    This outfit is versatile to the max.  I wear it grocery shopping, lounging around and also can easily and comfortably do my yoga practice.  The shirt is a flattering cut that accentuates the bust while minimizing the waist.

The Burnout Gray Om Hoodie is a fantastic piece.  The lightweight material makes it perfect for Florida.  The design and cut has brought me many compliments.  I love the saying on the back that says, “The Only Constant Is Change.”

The final item I received was the Organic cotton and Spandex capris.  They fit snug but comfortable and are PERFECT for yoga.  They are so slimming as well and I find myself just pairing them with a tee and heading out the door.  The sizing charts on all the items are spot on and make ordering easy.

One item that I did not receive, but am really considering purchasing, is one of the Kabuki tops.  These shirts have some of the coolest cuts and colors I have ever seen.  The women in the photos make them look so whimsical and fun, like something you would wear walking through the streets of Europe, or down a catwalk for that matter!

Om Shanti Clothing is giving TWO winners $50 in store credit to use on any of their awesome clothing!  If you don't win you can still use promo code MommyTime to receive 20% off your order through September, 30th 2012.

I recevied products for my honest opinion and no other compensation was received.

  1. Wow! I am IN LOVE with this site!!! I can’t believe how many gorgeous yoga clothes they have! I picked the Cotton Knit Flo Pants – Active Wear – White to answer your question, but I’d truly love to have one of almost everything!

  2. The gauze pants with rollover waist are great! Especially the tie dye desert style – There are so many fabulous shades that they would be easy to match with a ton of different Om Shanti tops and their free flowing & breathable fabric looks great for casual strolls and hikes. Love ’em!
