This delicious Watermelon Slushie is the perfect drink for Summer. Watermelons are some of our favorite fruits and they are so inexpensive this time of year so we eat them A LOT! We usually get once at least once a week and love to make lots of recipes
I love a good slushie, these are so good and perfect for your summer party or sitting by the pool. My girls like these any time! They are so good for any occasion.
See below how easy these Watermelon Slushie are to make have them for your next party or take to the beach. You can also add a little rum or tequila if you want to make it an adult drink.
Ingredients –
2 C. fresh watermelon cut into chunks
1/2 C. sugar (more or less to taste) I use Swerve Sweetener (stevia)
juice of 1 lime
2-4 tbs. water
Gallon freezer bag
Directions –
Add the fresh watermelon chunks to the gallon freezer bag and freeze for several hours.
Remove from the freezer and place the chunks in the food processor.
Add the juice of 1 lime, sugar and a few tablespoons of water.
Pulse until smooth, adding a little bit of water at a time, as needed.
Pour and serve.
*Makes 2 servings
